The Garden House

We were there a full week. When I booked the room, I was worried that the room was to small, we usually get a house or a suite at a hotel. We were not disappointed at The Garden House. We booked the tiny king . The room was big enough, we weren’t there very much. Normally We never get up for breakfast however we made it a point to eat breakfast on the patio every day at the Garden House. There were always people there to share their experiences of the days before, we got lots of ideas of what to do and where to eat. The atmosphere and experience was a great way to start our day. We walked everywhere for three days and then decided to rent bikes from Sammy. I haven’t been on a bike in over 40 years. We enjoyed it so much we did it again the next day. Sammy is a great host and he helped us pick out a tour or two. Every night we went up on the upper deck and enjoyed a drink or two . The whirlpool was a pleasant way to cool off after a long day of walking. I highly recommend this place and would love to go back and stay at this B&B . It is within 4 blocks of the water and Duvall Street. A win win

Great location, very close to everything you want to be near in key west. The rooms are small, but we knew that when booking. You have enough room for what you need while exploring key west. There is a small soaking pool, it's 3 feet deep so it's more for hanging out than swimming. They serve breakfast. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, as is the hotel dog. Very cozy and nice hotel

We absolutely loved our stay here. We were late to check in but Hubert had sent us all the instructions super clearly. The rooms were nicely set up, clean and comfy. The lady at the breakfast (Selma, I think was her name, sorry if I forgot) made amazing waffles for us. She was super nice to talk to and treated us so well. And this property is just a few minutes walk from anywhere in the old town. So we never had to drive anywhere, just a short walk and we were in the center of the old town. All in all, this is a great place to stay. Would definitely recommend.

I have been to Key West five times and this is easily the best bed and breakfast I have stayed at! Sammy Miami and Katie are the best hosts. Sammy made us multiple drinks throughout the weekend and even gave us his parking space when there was an issue with ours! He also had the best recommendations for local restaurants. AND the breakfast parfaits and waffles were delicious. Would highly recommend The Garden House to anyone!

What a great place. The owner is amazing and right there to talk and give Key West tips. We could walk to all the things we wanted to do. Ignore all the negative comments about small rooms. Just read his website it is accurate. Yes the rooms are small but are you going to Key West to sit in a room. You will not find a better host at a B&B. We absolutely loved our stay and it will probably be an annual escape. It was fabulous.
